Back to Claude Debussy
This is the original form of the ballet Khamma. Debussy subsequently began an orchestration that was completed by Charles Koechlin. At various points in the piano score, Debussy includes in smaller text additional lines that would become part of the orchestration. Some pianists choose to include a selection of these, often by redistributing notes between the hands or omitting some altogether. Depending on the passage, such inclusions range in difficulty from being relatively straightforward to extremely difficult; the difficulty rating here is based on the main text only.
