Liszt originally wrote O sacrum convivium for women’s voices and organ or harmonium (S. 58; LW J40; R. 515). He later made an arrangement for solo organ or harmonium (S. 674a; LW E36); this can also be played effectively on the piano. The arrangement includes two short ossia passages of thirteen bars in total (S. 674a bis).
