Robert Schumann
Works by the McCorkle catalogue
Works are identified by the catalogue of Margit McCorkle (Robert Schumann: Thematisch-Bibliographisches Werkverzeichnis; Henle, 2003).
Alongside the works with opus numbers, McCorkle lists works that Schumann published without an opus number or intended to publish (WoO 1–8), and other works, fragments and plans (Anh. A–R). There is an earlier catalogue by Kurt Hofmann and Siegmar Keil that also assigns WoO numbers (WoO 1–32) to published works not given an opus number (Robert Schumann: Thematisches Verzeichnis sämtlicher im Druck erschienenen musikalischen Werke; Schuberth, 1982); these are different to McCorkle’s and are not used on these pages.
