This concerto arrangement, identified as BWV 592a in BWV^1,2,2a and listed under BWV 592 in BWV³, is possibly spurious. It is based on an authentic arrangement by Bach, which, in turn, is based on a violin concerto by Johann Ernst of Saxe-Weimar.
