This menuet is spurious and is actually by Francesco Geminiani. The instrumentation of this piece is unspecified; the catalogue of Bernd Baselt describes it as for keyboard. A version of the piece is also used as the (spurious) song When I survey Clarinda’s charms (HWV 228/20 = HWV Anh. B 009).
