Liszt wrote the Zweiter Mephisto-Walzer in versions for orchestra (S. 111; LW G37; R. 428) and for solo piano (S. 515; LW A288; R. 182); it is not certain that one is a direct arrangement of the other. He later made an arrangement for piano duet (S. 600; LW B54; R. 326).
